Samsung announced on Tuesday that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 10th in Paris, France.

According to a video accompanying the official invite and numerous leaks, Samsung is expected to unveil its latest foldables and introduce Galaxy AI, a suite of AI-powered features unveiled earlier this year.

“The next frontier of Galaxy AI is coming. Prepare to discover the power of Galaxy AI, now infused into the latest Galaxy Z series and the entire Galaxy ecosystem,” the official invite says.

According to The Verge , various rumors suggest that the highlight of the event could be the anticipated official launch of the Galaxy Ring, which Samsung first introduced at the January 2024 Unpacked event.

Engadget reports that Samsung hinted at the smart ring’s US launch “in or around August of this year”, although details on price, specs, and availability have not been officially announced by the company.

Alongside the anticipated launches of the Galaxy Ring and Galaxy AI, Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, the latest additions to its foldable lineup.

Rumors suggest the Z Flip 6 will receive significant hardware upgrades compared to the Z Fold 6, including a larger battery, increased RAM, and a 50MP primary camera.

The Unpacked event may also feature the introduction of Samsung’s newest smartwatches, along with the debut of the Samsung Galaxy Buds3 and Buds3 Pro, the latest wireless earbuds from the company.

The event will stream live on Samsung’s website, YouTube channel, and Newsroom at 3 p.m. CEST, 6 a.m. PDT, and 9 a.m. EDT. Leading up to the event, customers can reserve a new Galaxy device and receive $50 in instant credit, as well as save up to $1,500 on device preorders. This offer is valid through July 10 on Samsung’s website.

Atari will launch an expansion for its anniversary edition, Atari 50: the Anniversary Celebration Expanded Edition, on October 25th. The new additions, announced in partnership with the video game company Digital Eclipse, will include 39 games and two timelines.

According to Tech Radar , the expansion will be available for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, Atari VCS, PS4, and PS5. Purchases for PS5 and Nintendo Switch will also include a physical edition with perks like an Al Alcorn Replica Syzygy Co. business card, Atari 2600 art cards, and miniature arcade marquee signs.

Users will have access to over 140 games including the games launched last year, even though the new titles have not been revealed yet. The standard version will be available for sale next fall at $39.99, and the one including the steel book for $49.99. The timelines will be offered as a downloadable option for those who already own the Atari 50 launched last year.

According to Engadget , the two timelines included in the new expansion are about the company’s history and include playable games and video segments. “The Wider World of Atari” timeline details Evelyn Seto and the design of the “Fuji” Atari logo and Al Alcorn’s talent as the creator of Berzerk and Pong during the 1980s. The second timeline, “The First Console War”, explores the rivalry between Atari and Intellivision.

In the meantime, users can explore the current selection of games available on Atari’s website, like more details about the games, videos, and interviews for the timelines and buying options. Atari should release more details about the new extension in the upcoming weeks.

Nintendo Switch users will have plenty of games to satisfy their nostalgia needs as, besides Atari’s new additions, Nintendo recently added multiple Mega Man classic games to its library.
